Can I ask what "kick it" means?

Can you use it in a sentence? I think there is a couple of meanings. If someone dies we say "they kicked it" as in kicked the bucket.
Raindrops,my teardrops. Falling from above,i dont have your love.

It's probably just as teardrops says. Coming from the idiom "to kick the bucket" (wasn't there a film called "The Bucket List?).

Some people are afraid to vote for John McCain because they're afraid he'll kick it as soon as he's elected and Sarah Palin will become president.
