Devil on the Cross by Ngugi wa Thiong'o

hi everybody :-o I hope you are all fine {-:
So I have read recently Devil on the Cross by the great African novelist Ngugi wa Thiong'o, and I'm supposed to write a research paper on it . The question is how does Ngugi experiment language in Devil on the Cross in terms of satire and allegory?
I started searching first about the experimental novel , what is it ? but I found a little definition in wiki ( because in the research paper there is a theoritical part then we apply it on the novel). I just wander if anyone can help and guide me , for instance can I talk about the Experimental Novel of Emile Zola and how I reach the African Experimental novel if I start with Zola? then any ideas about allegory and satire?
I'll be so greatful for any replies and thank you {-:
