who knows how old is REALLY Egyptian sphinx?

Hello here,

Lately I have started to read more about ancient Egipt and I would like to ask here - do you know how old is Egyptian sphinx? People say so different theories about it that I was really shocked - in the year 2009 having such a sophisticated equipment noone is able to measure the age of Egyptian sphinx without any doubts? Why? How can it be?

Can you know something more about it?
