expression

Post by Ninaleeing »

Hello friends,

Here is another problem I need your advice. I am not sure whether the expression of the following statements is correct or not. Should I make some revisions? For example the word "hereunder" is said rarely used today. Is that so? Should I revise "being bullied" to "bullied" and "Being misunderstood by others" to "Misunderstood by others," etc?

Check hereunder to show in which situations that you find yourself upset, frustrated
or depressed.
___ 1. Being bullied.
___ 2. Being misunderstood by others.
___ 3. Breaking up with the one you love.
___ 4. Lacking family love.
___ 5. Getting your bike stolen
___ 6. Not having good looks.
___ 7. Not having good grades in school.
___ 8. Not having good interpersonal relationship.

Do you think the following revision better?
In what situations do you find yourself upset, frustrated or depressed?
___ 1. Bullied.
___ 2. Misunderstood by others.
___ 3. Breaking up with the one you love.
___ 4. Lacking family love.
___ 5. Not satisfied with your looks.
___ 6. Not satisfied with your grades in school.
___ 7. Others:___________________________________

I think your revision is better, but for #1 I would still write: "Being bullied."
