I think that's happening to everybody. It just goes to show how deceitful that person is. Even you could (or should) not trust him coz he could be doing the same to you so, what you could have noticed could be a hint for you. It's really up to you if you will still trust that person.

What would you do if you found a food at the door step of your house?

If I forgot my cash at home I would ask the person I came to the restaurant with to pay for me this time :)

What would you do if your BF/GF calls you for a meeting and when you reach that particular place he/she isnt there and says I cant come?

If my BF/GF behaved in such a way I would ask his/her what reason of it was.

I would love to go 1400 years back to at least have a small glance of the noble personality (Muhammad P.B.U.H) in the whole history of human beings

I think I will have always a great sense of oppression.

We are not God so we cannot make miracles... I so wish I own the world then there is so much I can do but, we share this world with other creatures so there is really nothing much we can do. Only thing is there are so much more to learn, so we can only make a change by becoming literate and learn from it.
Well, I will just have to be true to myself. Apparently, we cannot even control other people because each of us has our own life to live, but we can guide them... and for sure, you will know one thing, you will know who are those people who are true or not. So, in my own life, I will just listen to those people who encourage me to do things what I think is right in my heart.
