What is the most popular sport in the whole wide world???
People have different perceptions, have different ideas and have different favorite sports. During a seminar, one of the lecturers told us that soccer is the USA no.1 sport, what can i say about that? I think its basketball, as i have know basketball is the most watched game in the USA. Its up to a person, no one can say it right.

actually, the most popular sport is soccer or football...
USA may have NBA, but the americans prefer playing soccer than basketball...
In europe, it's also soccer. One proof is the EUFA, it's a soccer league for European teams by the way. They don't have in style basketball teams resembling to Real Madrid of Spain, Manchester United of England, which are soccer teams...
In Asia, even though you might say in the Philippines, basketball is popular, in other countries such as vietnam and malaysia, the number one sport is soccer..
Another proof are FIFA and the very popular and exciting world-cup, right?
so i presume, we shouldn't say it's anyone's perception.. because it's an inevitable fact.. and it has been proven for several years already...

I think that football (or soccer) is the most popular sport in world, because to play this game we just need a ball and a field (and our friends waiting to have fun)...

FIFA is one of the biggest sports company in the world with one of the tournament with more influence in the entire world..

I think the most popular sport in the world is football, because we always talk about that sport, when we saw the sports in news everyone is about football , I like see this game but isn't my favourite, my favourite sport is swiming , but when I saw football I change a lot becouse Im very competitive jaja I prefer saw games of Universidad de Chile, Real Madrid and of course the team of Chile.

I think that the most popular sport in America it's Baseball and Football, but in my country (Chile) the most popular sport it's soccer and maybe tennis. We have many soccer teams, and the most popular are Colo-Colo, Universidad de Chile and Universidad Católica. Also our National team is very good and one of the stars is Alexis Sanchez, who now plays in FC Barcelona.
If you ask me for my opinion.....I really don't like soccer, I like basketball, because It's funnier than soccer....I think.
