though usage

Post by mukkuvan »

Hi,

I have some questions regarding the usage and meaning of though.
Following are my doubts.

Which is the correct usage?

1. I had key with me,though I could not open the door.
2. Could not open the door, though I had key with me.

What is the meaning of the below usage?

He was brilliant,though
She speaks too much,though

Request you to help me in this.

Thanks

Both ways round are possible, but the second makes better sense. This is not really a grammar issue.
