Is or Was

Post by taran »

Hello Teacher.

If I wanted to share what I have just recently learned with someone, should I use is or was?

a) What I learned today is
b) What I learned today was

Learned is past tense, so was makes sense to me, but can't the word today be considered the present therefore allowing is to possibly be used as well?

Thanks for the help.

Both possible, but 'is' is more natural.
