How to account for an alphabet letter?

Post by juneliu »

Dear Sir/Man,

If the alphabet Rr is a collelctive noun, can I ask, "Where is the r (or R)?
If the alphabet Rr a proper noun, can I ask, "Where is R (or r) ?
Or simply "Where is R? or Where is r"?

I hope the way I raise the question is right this time.

Thanks,
