Chance -
A possibility of something happening.
Opportunity-
A set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.
A chance for employment or promotion.

Hi there.
As far as I know we use chance to talk about possibilities or probabilities (you're not so sure about it) but when it comes to an Opportunity, the situation depends on a set of circumstances.
For example: (a) I hope I have any chance to meet her. [possibility] (b) I wish I could have the opportunity to travel. [circumstances ...if you have money or time, you can travel]

If I only had a chance to miss a single opportunity to interfere every talk, I probably would be able to obtain the lovely ability to quit and shut up in time. OMG, it seems I once again missed the chance! Or the opportunity?
