Arequipa, Peru

I am planning a move to Arequipa, Peru, with my wife and dog, to teach English.

Can anyone tell me what Arequipa and Peru are like to live in?

I have previously lived in the Middle East and traveled in Africa, but this will be my first trip to live and teach in South America.
