Best word in this sentence?

Post by PoojEng »

Hi,

I was wondering which word suit the most in this sentence. Initially it was 'growing economic growth'. I can't think of a better word than 'rising' or 'increasing'. Please help.

"The answer can be found in the country's rising/increasing economic growth since reforms were introduced in 1991."

Thanks,
Pooj

Suggest 'increased' - passive in form but active in meaning.
