English grammar help. Grammar questions from ESL learners
Is the following sentence correct?:
He has her training for the olympics.
or do I always have to say,
He has her train for the olympics.
Is there some rule that makes sentences like the first one correct?

Both constructions are perfectly possible, the first having a progressive meaning.
