"well done" or "done well" ?

Post by Irrational »

Which one of the following sentences is correct:
"The job is well done" or "The job is done well".
I thought that both could be correct, but I am not sure and I couldn't find an answer anywhere.

Both are grammatically possible.

I suspect that what you mean to say is: the job has been done well. (i.e. to a high standard).
