help with plural / singular

I have been having a problem with plurals and singulars.

each person has many stuff that he/she owns like toothbrush, cellphone, TV, purse, etc. how do we say (this / these ?) belongings? his property or his properties?

My belongings are missing.
Whose are these belongings?

Your belongings are also your property in the sense that you own them. But the word you are looking for is "belongings". "Property" can include everything, including your car or house.

1. let's say that one day, I only have a car and nothing else. should I say the car as my belonging (I only have one stuff)?
2. when I have more than one stuff, should I say my property? or my properties (since I have more than one thing in my possession)?
