The sentence is
''Women don't want to appear as oversad or judged as melodramatic.''
I would like to ask 2 questions:
1. why there's an ''as'' after ''appear'',and then the word which is after the ''as'' is not a noun but an adjective ??
2. why isn't there a ''be'' before the word ''judged''??

The sentence is incorrect in both the respects that you have highlighted!
