I have told her more than I should tell/should have told

Post by masonsouth »

A sentence: I have told her more than I should tell/should have told.

(1)Which one should I use? I think it's OK to use SHOULD HAVE TOLD because it's a past event, but I am not sure whether SHOULD TELL is OK. Could you help me?

(2) Is it possible to simply say:

I have told her more than I should.?

Thank you very much.
