Reading in English is a great way to learn new words. Read a bit every day and aim to learn 8 words a day. Ebooks are cheap on Amazon.com and you can read them on your phone, tablet, laptop or e-reader. Choose books that are specially for learners who already know about 2000 words. The Cambridge Readers are good examples - good stories and well written. The level 5 readers are at the 2,800 word level, so you can understand most of the words, but also learn some new ones. Good luck!
Read, enjoy, learn Really Useful English Idioms on your phone, tablet or e-reader.
