Relative pronoun

Post by Rustamsher »

This is the only example ... I can give you.

(a) who
(b) that
(c) which
(d) whose

To be honest, this test is a little confusing . As far as I know, after inanimate things we can
use either that or which. However, both of them are given in the test. On what basis do we
choose either of them?

Many thanks

'That' is the only natural choice where the antecedent noun is modified by 'the only...'.
