Double question

Postby Rustamsher » Sun Sep 29, 2013 9:26 pm

1. When would it be a good time to call you?
2. When would be a good time to call you?

a. Is No.2 simply a shorter version of No.1?
b. Which sentence do you feel is the more "correct" one -- in terms of grammar?

Thank you

Both might be used, but the second, in which 'when' functions pronominally, is probably the more natural.
