Just a mug of warm milk with Nesquick. I am just not hungry when I get up. Sometimes I also have a magdalene but only because I don't wanna feel hungry before lunch.

I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I also know the rule that says "have a king's breakfast, a princess lunch and a vagabond dinner" but I just can't eat anything for breakfast. Maybe it is because I was raised that way. Just a mug of milk.

By the way, Xavia, i see that sometimes you have noodles for breakfast. Do you have rice, too?

When I was in Beijing, noodles and rice were part of the Chinese breakfast (there were two types of breakfast: Western and Chinese). I was astonished when I saw it the first day, because I usually have noodles or rice for dinner here in Europe when I go to a Chinese restaurant.

I'm Vietnamese, too :D
H m m, I often eat " pho " ( have you ever heard about this before? ) . It's also my favorite dish :D .
Of course, a glass of milk is necessary in my breakfast.
But sometimes, I want to change other dishes, such as: cereal, instant noodle and so on.

well, if you are a student and away from home for universty and there is nobody to prepare you a breakfast, it is usually a waste of time in the mornings. everyday i have lessons very early in the morning and i can sleep for at least twenty minutes more instead of having a regular breakfast!! god, it has been for months since i last had a real breakfast :( ..

What's with all the breakfast topics? It's taking over EC.

A typical western breakfast consists of some of the following, not all:

Ham
Eggs (Easy-over is the best)
Sausages
Bacon
Bread/Toast with jam/butter/peanut butter
Hash Browns
Milk
Juice
Coffee
Tea
Last night's left-overs

And pretty much anything else.

I hear ya!

Anyway, I live in the US and I personally don't eat breakfast 99% of the time. When I have cereal available, I eat that or a muffin.

Hi!Pal
~I'm from CHINA,too.
I always breakfast on porridge, bread, boiled eggs, milk and so forth. Although porridge is nutritious,I don't like eating it.It tastes considerably weak.

I think they are students, and this is an assignment or something.

Really? For breakfast? In any case, we have them for lunch, not breakfast. Especially because my personal breakfast consists in just a mug of milk, like I said above

I'm glad that you joined the topic.
At first, it's just a task given by my English teacher. I want to improve my poor English, but now I find another meaning of doing so.
I agree with the idea that no matter what you have for breakfast, you just enjoy yourself!

italian breakfast

Post by funnygirl »

Hello,
I come from Italy and, for me, breakfast is a very important part of the day.
My friends don't like breakfast in fact they drink only a coffee and they resist all the day.
For me is very important because, if I don't eat I feel very tired!
So... I usually eat milk or tea with biscuits, or brioche or... crispbreads with Nutella!

Hi!
I am from Indonesia.
I usually have rice and fry egg for breakfast. Sometimes i drink a glass of "Milo" from nestle. My mom say that is not good for someone to eat too much in breakfast. But in other way, we must have breakfast. It's also good for someone in diet program. Breakfast could resist feeling of hunger, maybe 1 or 2 hour before lunch time.

In Italy we are not used to eat sausages, eggs, porridge, etc. for breakfast, even if I think it's a right way of starting one's day (one gets energy and has a lot of time ahead for digestion).
I usually have just a cappuccino and toast with honey/jam.

Hi,
My freind have been to China and Thiland many times, and he told me he usually took breakfast outside, there were many moving restaurants (sorry I don't know a precise word). Compared to those shop in Japan, it's so
reasonable, quickly served and tasty. I envy him
Back to myself, I usually eat fruits, yogult, rice and milk. I have no time to make a big brekfast but I try to milk products or fiver rich food.

Hi friends,

At México there are some basic elements in the breakfast: orange juice, milk, egss, bread, cofee, fruit.
Now, because of the stress to live in the principal city (México City),people usually do combination of this elements. Example:Mix mil with fruit and an egg in the licuator and drink (breakfast for students)
Drink a cofee, a donut or a sandwich while you go to the office,in the car, on the street., etc.
Brakfast for workers:Drink "Atole" (milk with chocolate or any other flavor) and a "Tamal" or eat "tacos" on the street.
After that "important" meal mexican people eat whatever they can, while the lunch hour came.

Elba brakfast:
06:00 am Orange juice and an all bran bar
10:00 am begettable, yougurt or milk, eggor cheese
12:00 fresh cucumber with lemmon
15:30 lunch: chicken or fish or cheese, vegetables
17:00 hot tea with lemmon
21:00 More hot tea with lemmon, milk a sandwich or cheese or only fruit like wattermelon, grapes, apricot, or something tht contain enough part of juice.

OMG I´m hungry all the time
2 l of watter.
