The International Language Academy Manila (I.L.A.M.) is a school established to effectively teach the art of communicating using the English language.

The school offers different programs that are personalized to address the individual learner’s needs. One on one and small group sessions are offered to suit the requirement or learning style of each student. Modules are carefully planned out to be simple, practical and fun. Research is conducted, to ensure that all materials are up to date and globally competitive.

International Language Academy Manila is located at the heart of Makati City, the Central Business District of the Philippines. Malls and restaurants are a stone throw away from the location of the school.

Each student’s needs are unique. At I.L.A.M. students are given guidance, proper encouragement, and motivation, to succeed in achieving their goals in learning, enhancing and the mastery of the English language.

Mission :

To ensure excellence in English Language for Professionals and Non Professionals (elementary, secondary, college/university students)

Goal:

1. EFL Course: To acquire essential English communication skills which includes the ff:
• Mastery of the English alphabet in the alphabetical order
• Naming objects
• Recognizing parts of speech and knowing their use in sentences
• Construction of simple sentences
• Incorporating simple idioms and figures of speech in sentences
• Proper recognition and use of verb tenses.

2. English for Specific Needs: To improve abilities that the student already possess and to practice until they reach a level of perfection in:
• Expressing opinions, needs, feelings and ideas,
• Sharing and requesting information
• Communicating preferences and needs engaged in transaction
• Asking and answering questions
• Explaining/describing in detail
• Requesting information and assistance
• Developing relationships with others
• Having self confidence to speak in front of an audience (public speaking)

3. Advanced English class: To ensure the reinforcement of the knowledge of the student both in written and oral form which includes the ff:

• Reinforcement of their knowledge and skills
• Gaining more confidence in expressing their ideas and feelings in English
• Communicating socially
• Identifying the weakness and improving on those
• Using figures of speech in their sentences and conversations.

4. Special Review Program: To review and attain a high/outstanding score for either TOEIC, TOEFL ibt.
