Learning Approach:
Modelled communicative & inclusion methods are used in training sessions, & trainees are required to take an active part in them. The sessions are characterised by a high percentage of interactive activities where trainees consider situations/concepts/questions through performing a set of tasks. The cycle of “doing”, “reflecting”, “hypothesizing” and “testing” is employed in all aspects of the course. Throughout this process, trainees are encouraged to make reference to the life experiences of themselves & others in their group.
Whenever practical trainers model teaching approaches & activities which trainees will be able to replicate in the TEFL classroom. This may be in the form of giving instructions, the use of pairs and small groups, the management of feedback sessions or strategies for introducing and exploring areas of grammar.

Assessment criteria:
Trainees are assessed throughout the course! Our approach to assessment is supportive, rigorous & mentor-based. It is conducted in such a way that our judgments are based on a broad base of evidence & people views.
Three areas are formally assessed - Teaching Practice, Language Awareness, and Personal Skills and Qualities.
Course entry requirements:
University degree or equivalent evidence of experience & ability to study. Native or near- native English speaker. Minimum age: 20
