Learning English Video Project film crew back on the road!!
This month Daniel Emmerson is flying to China to start work on a future film for the series. His dedicated cameraman Joel Carr will be joining him on the trip and they will be spending two weeks in the dazzling Chinese city of Shanghai. As with the previous films that have been released on English Club, the Shanghai production will have a theme based on identifying different methods and reasons for learning English as a foreign language across the globe. Follow Daniel's production blog Can I put your films on MY website, free? YES. If you would like to play any film from The Learning English Video Project on your own website or page, you can use the "embed" code we provide. You can find it here. Just copy the embed code to your own page, and people can watch the films, with or without subtitles (your choice), right there on your own website. Teachers can also download the films direct to a PC

Famous Quotes
A quote (or "quotation") is usually a short text - perhaps one or two
sentences - written or spoken by one (usually famous) person and often
repeated or at least known by others. Every language has its famous
quotes, and they range from highly amusing to deadly serious. Often
they express a deep truth in a short, clever way - even the amusing
ones.

Talking Point
Wealth
Who are the richest people in the world? It can be very difficult to establish exactly who the richest people in the world are because every "top ten richest people" list is slightly different. This is partly because many extremely prosperous people keep the details of their finances to themselves and partly because it depends exactly how their wealth is calculated in real terms.
