easier said than done
Meaning: You say something is easier said than done when it looks easy to do, but in fact it's quite difficult to do.
For example:
- Opening a branch office in China is easier said than done because of all the government regulations.
- I warn my students that becoming a successful artist in the real world is much easier said than done.
