I owe you one! Informal

Meaning: You can say "I owe you one!" when someone has done something for you and you'd be happy to return the favour one day.

For example:

  • Thanks for helping me out, Bob. I owe you one!

  • "I owe you one!" said Malik after I'd told him to sell his shares just before the market collapsed.
