sport

The noun "sport" can be both countable and uncountable.


uncountable

Meaning: physical activities in which players compete individually or in teams
Example sentence: My nephew isn't very good at maths and science, but he's very good at sport.

countable

Meaning: a particular kind of sport
Example sentence: In summer we played sports like cricket and tennis, but in winter we only played football.


Note: In American English, "sports" can be used for uncountable as well as plural countable meanings.
