pissed (2) American English Offensive

Meaning: angry, annoyed

For example:

  • Andy was pissed because I'd forgotten to bring back the book I'd borrowed.

  • Be careful if you speak to the boss. He's pissed about the mistakes we made in production.

Note: same as "pissed off"

Variety: This slang is typically used in American English but may be used in other varieties of English too.
