Scam Warning - Tianjin / China

Watch out for a company called Yuming Education.

They are notorious for messing their teachers around and the details regarding the conditions of employment stated on their website are completely inaccurate.

They state they provide health insurance which they do not, if you are unfortunate enough to end up in some kind of accident you will be left in the position of having to pay some pretty expensive hospital bills :(

They state that the holidays in the Summer and Winter are approximately 4 and 6 weeks in length and that during said holidays you can continue at your full rate of pay in a teaching camp.

The reality is that the holidays are in fact 2 and 3 months in length and during which time they do not have any work for you. Most teachers end up having to seek additional employment during this time and if they find this out you will be fired as there is a clause in the contract stating you are not allowed to seek additional work when employed by them.

They really deserve to go out of business the way they treat staff and believe me there are plenty of respectable companies around the city which are worth having a look at.
