Would for habits in questions

It's possible to use "would" for habits in the past but I was wondering if it's possible to use it in interrogative form, I've heard different opinions and I'd like someone to clarify this doubt. Thanks.

It is better to use "used to" instead of "would" in questions about habits.

Using "used to" in interrogative form to talk about a past habit is readily understood.
Examples: Did you use to be a football player? Yes, I used to be a football player.
Did Melinda use to play the piano? Yes, she used to play the piano.

Using "would" in a declarative sentence to talk about a past habit is readily understood like in the following example:
Every evening, we would watch horror movies.

But if "would" is used in interrogative form to talk about a past habit, it could be mistaken to mean something else. An example is the following:
Would they go to the Casino every evening?
This sentence could very well refer to a habit in the future, as "would" in interrogative form is used to express future time.

I agree with Rosalinda. We have better use "used to" to express what we usually do in the past.
e.g I used to walk on this street when I was kid :-)
