A confusion in this case of relative pronouns

Hello everybody,
Have a nice day from sunny Egypt.In fact I'm an English teacher in a language school.Please I would like to have an explanation to this sentence:
The Hilton is a hotel who has two swimming pools. (correct)
It's written in the grammar books that we use the relative pronoun (Where) when we speak about a repeated place in the second sentence.
*But I completely aware that the answer won't be where but it will be which. Can you tell me why??????

The blue-print sentence is grammatically incorrect. Hilton is a hotel that has two swimming pools or Hilton is the hotel, which has two swimming pools.

When you want to describe a place you should use which.This hotel is a place which has two swimming pools.If you want to say what has happened in a place you should use where.This is the hotel where they had stayed two nights.By the way you can also replace where with in which and it makes sense.
