Can you by any chance explain to me if friendly can be adverb?
I don't think so....but I may be wrong...( :

How simple, yet hard to answer a question can be. In short, yes, it can be an adverb. For further information visit:

Hi Graziela!

It's a while you've asked the question, I hope I can be of help:)

Since an adverb modifies a verb, friendly could be used as an adverb too, besides its use as an adjective. But it's simply not correct English..

Look at the example:

She spoke to him friendly.

Much better to say:

She spoke to him in a friendly manner or She was friendly when speaking to him.
