What are some of the ways you assess students?

What are some of the ways you assess students in their language skills?

Read and Tell
Students read a story and tell what they've understood.
Answer questions
Students answer questions about a certain topic.
Describing a picture or process.
Students look at a picture/think about a process and describe it.
Role Play
Students have a dialogue with a partner and are assessed.
