I think we need to connect all of our ESL students online

We can do a lot in a classroom, but the walls of our schools limit our impact on our students' learning. I believe the internet can and should be used to connect ESL students from all over the world. Making these kinds of friendships can be a life-changing experience, boosting learner motivation and exposure to authentic English communication. Add native English-speaking students and teachers to the mix, and we're looking at a very powerful learning tool.
