I am susan. I am learning english now. But I have some problems.I dont understand this sentence.who can tell me what this sentence mean,please?
"Shipment will be effected within 20 days after receipt of the relevant sight L/C in our favor issued by a bank acceptable to us."

it means that the agreement in the shipment terms will have effect (about the terms and regulations i suppose) only after they receive and visually see the L/C they received from the bank that they trust or like.
