Do you think it is useful to listen to songs during lessons?

Good evening!
I am the teacher of Spanish and English languages. The level of my students is
B1. I have never listened to English or Spanish songs on the lesson, however I
heard that songs are very useful and are very good way to learn new words. What
is your opinion? Do you listen to music on lessons?
Thank you!

I like using music in the ESL classroom. I think students appreciate using different methods of learning. You can do a simple gap fill, arrange the lyrics in order, or talk about rhyming words, useful expressions, or culture.

Also, check out this page on EFL Sensei about using music in the classroom.

All the best!
