squaddie in afghanistan in desperate need of help

ok basically i'm a british soldier out in afghanistan, i'm a information systems engineer (i fix computers and administer the system basically)

my problem is that my sergeant major found out that i'm half french and speak french fluently, he now wants me to teach english to the french troops we have on camp.

thing is i've never tought anything to anyone in my life and i don't know what to do.

i've created a rough introduction where i introduce myself and get the students to introduce themselves but i'm stuck after that...oh and my first class is tuesday morning :shock:

any help would be greatly appreciated

Might be an idea to establish what sort of English they need to learn... do they need to understand orders being given to them in English... do they need to give orders to others in English... do they need to be able to understand written military instructions, order things in the mess or just communicate in a common language... why does your SM want them to learn English...?
