NEW CONCEPT

Unread postby TutorT » Thu Jul 10, 2008 11:51 am

Hi Everyone
I thought some of you may be interested in checking out a new tool to use in your classrooms. http://www.tutortunes.com I'm sure a lot of you use English pop songs within your classes. Tutortunes are specially composed English pop songs like you hear on radio but have lyrics with grammatical focuses. At present areas covered include PREPOSITIONS, IRREGULAR VERBS, PRONUNCIATION, TRICKY CONTEXTUALIZATIONS, IDIOMS/EXPRESSIONS, BASIC CONVERSATION. The songs come on a custom media player and are presented with dynamic lyrical filmclips. Teachers who join Tutortunes can not only incorporate the songs into the lessons but can also issue memberships for all of their students. Please check it out and don't hesitate to contact me for any further information - info@tutortunes.com

Really interesting!! Who are the people involved in the creation of the songs?

When you say incorporate, you mean, we can't have the song inside our classroom.....we are able to reccommend to our students only...Am I right?

Hi Graziela,
Thank you for your interest in Tutortunes.
I am a musician based in Australia. I have written and performed all of the material currently on the site. As the site grows I am hoping to add new writers. The areas of grammatical focus have been provided by English teachers.
Teachers may use Tutortunes in their classes simply by acquiring a license from the subscription area. see http://www.tutortunes.com/contact/new_teacher
An internet connection ( and computer) is required within the classroom.

Please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you would like further info.
