Need Grammar lesson

Hi -

I would like to know if anyone can help me with these sentences? I need to know what type of sentences they are (i.e the form)? and find out about the verb and the adjective.

The sentences are:

"The Girl playing in the yard, is my sister." (am I correct by seperating the sentence with comma?)

"The car fixed by my father, is red."

Please let me know if there are materials on these type of sentences available.
