Schedule Flexibility for ESL teachers

Unread postby khayeB » Sun Jul 19, 2009 5:48 pm

Hi I am currently a student in a TESOL masters program and I'm interested in schedule flexibility i.e. either teaching in the evening/night or another type of flexible schedule. Are my interests unrealistic for a TESOL career or does this exist?

It depends. In some countries like Greece, for example, most of the teaching in private English language schools takes place in the late afternoon/evening with lessons often finishing at 10pm.

Private lessons also give you more flexibility especially if you teach adults, who are mainly available in the evenings, after work.
