Adverts on this site

Unread postby Kevin Vosper » Sun Apr 30, 2006 6:30 am

This posting is really addressed to whoever should be regulating postings on this site. Having been using this site for several years I have noticed that adverts, usually with nothing to do with teaching, are being posted here, especially recently. Please can you get rid of these adverts so we can get back to what this forum is really about ie discussions about English teaching.

I don't mind adverts, and would be happy to accept those connected with teaching but not the crap which is posted here.

Any comments greatfully accepted or please add your voice to the poll.

Clarification

Unread postby Kevin Vosper » Sun Apr 30, 2006 6:51 am

Can I just clarify one point. By "site" I mean this discussion forum not the site as a whole.

About Adverts on ESL Teacher Discussion

Unread postby sapphire » Sun Jun 04, 2006 10:36 pm

Yes Kevin, you are absolutely right! I'm a new member to the English Club (just a couple of days ago I joined) and have been looking around the forums as well as posted some comments. However, in my journey to peek some more, I realized lots of unnecessary posts (not related with English Teaching). I wish this will be given immediate attention from its moderators or anyone regulating this site.

By the way Kevin, since I am one with you in this concern how can I add my voice to the poll? :?:
