Beer Yoga Is a New Fitness Trend

Combining beer drinking with yoga class is a fitness trend that began in two years ago and has recently become in Australia, Europe, and Asia. During the class, participants focus on the bottle and take regular swigs of their beer. Some participants say that the alcohol helps them feel more and able to do the poses. Many health experts and yoga enthusiasts say that beer yoga is simply a gimmick. The purpose of yoga is to increase one’s awareness, and drinking beer has the opposite .

    Dear Tara: thank you for this very interesting post. I’m enthusiastic about all kind of activities relates to health and wellness. I think that alcohol is not recommendable at all if you look for health and wellness. I’m sure that the spirit of yoga is totally opposite to consume alcohol into this practice.

    Thank you for this news, but I would like to share a doctor’s opinion about the alcohol here.
    The doctor who is an expert in cancer and lives in the USA now says “I don’t approve the alcohol at all because the alcohol can cause cancer like smocking.”

    I myself prefer yoga without beer.
