US Constitution was signed on Sept 17, 1787. William Penn was the founder of Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania mistake was mentioned on the Liberty Bell. Most spell-check programs would not catch the itโs/its error either (though a grammar-check program might). Sometimes, the machine would mistakenly position the dot after the closing quote due to different standardization of American and British English.
