Trying to understand, I looked for some sentences with "NEVER TO..." on the net. Most of them are things to do in the future like lesson one has learned, desires, etc. But I also found this "She was exellent in pure mathematics, though she seems never to have enjoyed it much". Please explain the use...

Please correct me if I am wrong:
We use "Never to do" when we want to say about something we may not do in the future but we are not sure.
Am I right?

The use of NEVER

Hi,
I've read this sentence:
"There are three things I have learned NEVER to discuss with peple: religion, polictics and the Great Pumpkin".
My question is can we use NEVER TO DO something? (I looked up in the dictionaries, I just found NEVER DO, without TO).
