Camping is the ideal way of spending a holiday.

Do you agree or not?

One idea that I like in camping is the facts :

that you learn to live in a different situation

that you learn that many things are not necessary

that you don't use them

that you discover the region, the country, the world

that you have to adapt yourself, to accept the non-confort (when it is rainy, when you're tired, when you forgot to take something, when something unexpected happens, etc.).

I agree with Shokin.

Of course, camping provides you with a real change from every day living. You have enormous oppotunity to meet people pf various nationalities and share your pleasures with them. What are the another advantages?? Can you give some examples also? I wait.

You have none of the headaches of advance hotel booking or driving round and round a city at midnight looking for a room..

Now, it is your turn:)
What advantages more??

Yes, it costs less money (but I don-t like using this argument).

What can I say more ?

You take the time for seeing land, montains, forests, etc.

You breath good air, you feel the nature, you are in contact with THE NATURE !

Camping gives you a sense of independance. When you go on pampered holidays it is all laid on and you don't have to use your basic skills. When you are out in nature you have to use whatever is available to provide your comfort. I know these days it is nowhere near as hard as you can buy so many things to take on camping trips to make your life easy; but you still have to be organised and arrange things so that your everyday needs are met. I think it is great for your kids as well as it makes them feel very responsible (especially if they participate in collecting firewood, cooking, fishing etc).

I also think you have the ability to make your own fun and communicate more. When you stay in motels etc; if you get bored you switch on the television. Remove that option and you tend to communicate more.

It would be well if the camping was empty of people.
