Many people look at one's appearance and judge whether or not that person is good or bad, but appearance does not always show one's character. A person can have a bad appearance but when you get to know them, you will find out that they are a great person.
Like the old Indian proverb says, "Do not judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins" and "Don't judge a man's wealth or piety by their Sunday appearance!" You must get to know what this person is like on the inside because appearances can be deceptive.
