I'll travel to Vietnam soon. What items/things do the Vietnamese prefer to receive?

it depends on who you want to gift.i don't know what exactly they want but something that make them happy will make sense!!! .and there must be differences between the receivers,in differnt regions in Vietnam...

Vietnamese people like speciality things, like foods or drinks made in your country.
I say that because Vietnamese people usually give this kind of presents to friends.

Exactly, people in rural area is friendly, gentle, your appear even with nothing is also make them be fun. Everybody, even the rural children, who not know who you are, or where are you from...will waving at you, and " hello " !
