Learn English by using an app!

Post by misswa »

I typically enjoy learning English through various channels. Sometime on the web, or by watching TV, etc.
Then I saw this app and tried it. It was interesting concept. Sharing with everyone here - hopefully it will benefit someone.

Oh oh oh! That's a great topic.
I'd like to let you know my app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.paolo.learnenglish.songsmusic

It's a quite unique app, I could't find something similar (for this reason I made it).

The app is created to learn English by using songs, it reads and plays your songs, then automatically download the lyrics (that you can save), and when you don't know a word just click on it.
It translates the words that you selected (or even the sentences).

What do you think? :-)

App learning is always good! It's great for whenever you have a spare 10 minutes because you can access it very quickly, several times a day, meaning the knowledge is always fresh in your mind! I'm currently learning German this way.

I absolutely agree. My apps really helped me a lot. If you want to try my method also with German songs use this app:

I don't know if it has an app but I recently discovered a website for language learning which my students love. It's called Duolingo.

Hello,
There are so many apps for learning English. But the question is how?
How you can generate interest to learn English vocabulary and how you can use this vocabulary in your daily life?

So, first of all, you concentrate on these points daily which is below:
1) Find 3-5 vocabulary words daily with their meanings
2) Try to make 3-5 sentences with these vocabulary words
3) Talk daily your trusted friend daily in English

Before work on these points, you have to generate interest to learn English. But how?
You can download EnglishSikho app from this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ho.android
and you can easily correct your grammar, improve your vocabulary and writing skills as well with the play games. This is the best app to learn English from Hindi.

I hope this will be very beneficial for you.

Thank you

Hello,

A good way to learn English is to write down the words you learn everyday, so you can refer to them later, and never forget them again!

There are good apps there that allow you to do that, and the one I use is called My Word List.

There is a lite and a full version, and you can download it here:

Lite Version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... dlist.free

Paid Version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... dlist.paid

Check it out!

English52 (www.english52.com) is a great program if you want to study from home, on your laptop or on your phone while on the bus or at the cafe. English has never been more important but every learner is different and some people prefer to study English at their own pace.
The program has 3 modules to suit proficiency levels from complete Beginner to high Advanced (fluency) and features videos, interactive exercises and practice tests to measure your progress. It is an interactive and engaging study environment.
In total I enjoyed over 500 hours of study time which helped me improve my English on my own timetable, and move from beginner to advanced.
The program addresses English grammar, English pronunciation, accent reduction, reading & listening, TOEFL preparation and Business English.
English52 gave me all the tools I needed to learn English, it felt like I had a teacher right next to me.

Currently, the AI technology is quite cutting-edge. Using some AI oral practice APP is a good option for learning English. I used to use some AI-assisted app and another app which called Tandem. You can teach each other the language you excel in on that app. It's quite useful.
