Hey guys!! I wonder if it is possible to speak as fluently as native speakers just by watching videos like that on YouTube?

Thanks a lot for your advice! Could you please tell me what other ways can I do for better pronunciation?
Thank you for helping me analyse the situation. I think I am almost at the level which you said...so your suggestions really remind me..jonathanrace wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 11:59 am I think it depends where you're at. If you already "know" all the theory, grammar points and the only thing lacking is that your accent doesn't sound native then I think yes.
Yes it is possible to get your accent closer, maybe even matching those of the people you are watching. However I think you would progress much faster by imitating as well as just listening. That way your brain gets used to making those noises.
You different videos have different influence?lydialeilei wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 2:06 am It depends on what kinds of videos you watch...i think..
Whatever you find interesting and is useful for you learning the language. E.g if you are learning it for business then things like TED talks, News, finance reports etc are great. If you want to get better with general socializing then maybe sitcom's and movies might help more with that sort of thing. With my language studies I try to keep it varied!gooluyo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 4:10 pmThank you for helping me analyse the situation. By the way, do you have any ideas about what kind of videos are better for me? TED talks, speeches or comedies?
