Is this correct or is it better to say
" You mustn`t have been expecting me to repeat it" or is both wrong and I should answer
" You can`t be expecting me to repeat it".

But my english teacher wants us to answer these question with can not or/must not / or need not.
This is my problem, because I have the same feeling as you. All sounds not very friendly.
